Rabiot set to join Juventus

The soap opera surrounding Adrien Rabiot appears to be coming to an end as the French midfielder is on the cusp of joining Juventus.

Many elite clubs wanted to sign the 24-year-old, not only for his quality but due to the fact that he will become a free agent on June 30, following the conclusion of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

Fabio Paratici, Juve's sporting director, has been negotiating with Rabiot and his representatives throughout Friday and the deal is effectively done, report Sky Sport Italia. There are only a few small details that need to be ironed out.

The agreement is complete with regard to the most important aspects of his arrival. Rabiot will sign a four-year deal with the Bianconeri and he will earn roughly seven million euros per season.

It is expected that the transfer will be announced on July 1.
